Answer | To participate in MITA, you must be a scheduled carrier holding a valid airline code and a valid accounting and/or prefix code and provide the following documents:
- Signed Agreement(s) and application form to be provided by IATA
- A valid AOC issued by the Civil Aviation Authorities in the country of registry of the airline valid for at least 6 months
- Insurance certificate(s) for all aircraft listed on AOC
- Timetable of scheduled services published by OAG, INNOVATA or a similar airline schedules publication
- Must have a bilateral agreement with an airline holding valid IATA codes
- Financial statement and balance sheet certified by a chartered or public accountant not more than 15 months old
- Airline contact details of the Interline contact
- A non-refundable administration fee is applicable once all documentation has been reviewed and accepted.
