New BSPlink is the new and enhanced version of the BSPlink system (as opposed to Classic BSPlink )
How can I find out more about New BSPlink in the Customer Portal?
After logging in to the Customer Portal, click on “Support” > “Travel” > “BSPlink Operations/Passenger” > “New BSPlink”.
What is the difference between Classic BSPlink and New BSPlink?
New BSPlink is a new and enhanced version which will replace Classic BSPlink.
Did business processes change in New BSPlink?
Previously business processes remain the same. Our New BSPlink has more user-friendly functions and continues to be developed to progressively deploy new functionalities and enhance the user experience.

What is changed?
IATA, in collaboration with Airlines working groups agreed to a new plan structure for BSPlink for airlines, as part of the continuing commitment from IATA to reduce a airlines overall ISS charge
- The New BSPlink Participation based model will benefit Airlines as they will be able to create as many users as they need, under the Participation model selected
- Airlines will have Safe & Secure access to BSPlink through the implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) and Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Pricing for Airlines will depend on Participation model chosen and will apply by BSP participation and no longer per users, hence a great flexibility to create new users
What is the New BSPlink Participation Plan?
BSPlink services are now grouped into 3 Plans as opposed to the Classic BSPlink plan based on “ basic “ and Enhanced” user types.
New BSPlink Plans provide greater functionalities of automation with upper tiers and new usability:

How do I choose the Participation Plan I want to use?
Note that the selected Participation Plan apply to all users of the same Airline.
When will the Classic BSPlink be not accessible (decommissioned)?
Classic BSPlink will not be accessible upon cutover to New BSPlink backend migration expected in Q2, 2025

What language can I use in New BSPlink?
Several languages are available in the New BSPlink: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Chinese.
What is changing in 2025?
The BSPlink backend interface will be migrated to a new one, enabling more flexibility and efficiencies within the overall provision of BSPlink services. For users, while this backend migration will be invisible, it will trigger the end of the BSPlink “Classic” access. Classic BSPlink will be decommissioned as Quarter 2025, consequently only NFE will be in use.
What should I do if I notice a missing document?

What is the migration process?
Transition to users will be smooth. No change is expected to users, except that from cutover date (which will be confirmed by IATA), all users, will have access to New BSPlink only. Access button to “Classic “BSPlink will be removed.
For the purpose, the main action required to users from now, is to start using New BSPlink (versus Classic) and familiarize with it prior to the migration.
What are the benefits of migrating to a new backend?
The change will provide a more robust database and more efficiencies in the provision of BSPlink services.
How will the migration affect user profiles and permissions?
The users will have the same permissions as they currently have.
Am I losing any information after the kickoff?
No, the change should be transparent for final users. The only difference is that Classic BSPlink will not be accessible anymore.
What if I use bots that are running in Classic?
Since Classic BSPlink will no longer be accessible, all bots will need to be redeveloped using New BSPlink as a base.
When will the migration take place?
Migration is expected in Q2 2025. Date to be confirmed.
Will there be any downtime during the migration?
This information will be communicated to users as required.
Will my account information be affected?
No, your account information will remain the same, and you will not need to update your credentials.
Will there be any changes to how I access the platform?
No, you will continue to access the platform through the Service Portal.
What should I do if I encounter issues accessing my account?
Please contact Customer Service for assistance.
Will there be any tutorials or guides available to help me through the changes?
Existing BSPlink services and functionalities will continue, hence the main change is expected on the usage of New BSPlink versus Classic BSPlink. For the purpose, users can find all necessary tutorials and guides here.
Do I need to update my profile in the New BSPlink?
No, all settings configured in Classic BSPlink remain applicable in New BSPlink.
Is there any change for SFTP connection in New BSPlink?
Any SFTP connection setup in Classic BSPlink will remain valid in New BSPlink to all Airlines, no matter the chosen Participation model. In addition, global SFTP connection will be accessible to Lean users.
Where can I find my files in New BSPlink?
You can download the files (billing reports, communications, etc.) under the menu Files > Reports.
Is there any training on New BSPlink?
