How do I authorise Ticketing Authority in BSPlink and how do I send a CIP Plate?

To authorise Ticketing Authority to Travel Agents you use the Ticketing Authority Maintenance feature in BSPlink. Please follow these steps:

1. Select Ticketing Authority
2. Select Ticketing Authority Maintenance. The following options will appear: 
   • Authorise all Agents: To give Ticketing Authority to all active Agents at the same time. 
   • Delete Authority: To delete Ticketing Authority to a specific active Agent or from the active members of a BSPlink Agent Group. 
   • Assign Authority: To give Ticketing Authority to a particular active Agent or to the active members of a BSPlink Agent Group.
   • Authorise Agents by GDS To authorise Agents by selecting also different GDSs.
3. Select one of the options available.
4. If Delete Authority or Assign Authority options, enter an Agent code plus the check digit or a BSPlink Agent Group identification code (a maximum of 7 characters).
5. Click the Execute button to proceed with the operation.

Important Notes:
Note 1: No confirmation will be required, that is, once the 'Execute' button is selected, the deletion or authorisation of Ticketing Authority will be automatically carried out. A message will be displayed to inform the user about the success of the operation or about any problem there may be.
Note 2: The system considers active Agents as those Agents that are active members of the BSP .With electronic ticketing, there is no need to distribute any CIPs, Once you grant or remove ticleting authority from an agent, an automatic notification will be sent to the GDS. BSPLINK should be the only means of granting or removing ticketing authority to all IATA BSP accredited agents .
